After three years of online college courses, which meant a lot of sitting, I first came to Dr. Kojis for a check-up and re-balancing. As a massage therapist I am a huge advocate of balance in all areas of life. I had no pain, no injury, and no “spinal” issues. What I did have was several months of twice weekly migraines, daily digestive problems, and constant bloating that I could not manage in the usual way.
I noticed immediate cessation of my migraines after the first adjustment. My adjusting sessions were gentle and relaxing, but I began experiencing more physical stamina from the sessions as my energy was allowed to flow unimpeded.
During my fourth week Dr. Kojis noticed an involvement with my tailbone, which was usually not present, and asked me to think about it. I realized this had developed immediately after an extremely emotional issue that made me feel threatened and vulnerable. When I asked him what would cause the tailbone involvement, he said it usually comes from an emotional issue. I confirmed this and was amazed at his perception and knowledge. I felt like a whipped dog, with my tail tucked between my legs, and in actuality, I was!
In the 4 weeks Dr. Kojis has been seeing me, I have only had one slight headache that lasted a few hours and was most likely attributable to lack of sleep. My digestive issues are 80% better and my pre-existing IBS is manageable, the bloating is gone, and I’ve lost 8-10 pounds. Thank you Dr. Kojis, I’m a customer for life!
